Dear Donati,

Greetings from sunny London!  Last month (June 2012) was the second wettest for about 100 years, I believe. 

Presently, we are watching the Wimbledon Tennis Championships.  In the Men's (or Gentlemen's) competition, the Czech player Lukas Rosol "destroyed" Rafa Nadal, but unfortunately, went on to lose his next match in windy conditions.

Tonight, is a football final so everyone will be watching TV to see the match Italy v Spain (European Cup Championship).
