Tribute wallpapers topic restored
Permalink

Dear Friends.

I have finally traced the last few missing photos and wallpapers so that I could restore this Lea Tribute topic.  All the wallpapers and pictures should be back again now.  Please let me know if any are not displaying. There are some other topics still to be fixed.

On Silvia Saint's former CSS Forum, the main Lea topic "Remember Me" (which also needs restoration work next) has had over 101½ thousand viewings to date, I am pleased to say.

We lost hundreds of pictures when two of the Czech Sites were changed but fortunately I kept almost all of the "master" files from which the wallpapers were originally posted up on the Web. Others I had used I found again on the Web.  Very many thanks go to Chris Danneffel in Germany also to Dan at DDF Productions in Germany for the many fine photos used in the wallpaper creations, also to Christian from Monica Sweetheart's USA Site for kindly giving me access to Monica's photosets.

The ex-CSS topic starts at:

http://saint-archives.activeboard.com/t1592391/remember-me/?page=1

Thanks, Vic.  26 Oct '13.

Hello Donati,

Long time, no hear!

In 6 weeks' time, it will be 9 years since we lost Lea.

The main tribute topic has received many viewings on here and over 101,680 visits on the former CSS Forum too, which has some additional material in the "Remember Me" topic.

Do you have an idea for a ninth anniversary poster?   If you need any particular shot of Lea, I can send you the "master" file in its higher resolution.

All best wishes from the UK, where in the south we are expecting very high winds soon.

The song "Constantly".

The studio recording is by British pop star Cliff Richard (now "Sir Cliff Richard") made 50 years ago at the famous Abbey Road Studio in London (regularly used by "The Beatles").

"Is It So Strange" and "Teddy Bear"

IsItSoStrange.jpg

"Is It So Strange" (composed by Faron Young)

Oh, if you tell a lie
You know that I'll forgive you
Though you say our love is just a game
And when you hear my name
You'll say I'm from a strange world
But is it so strange to be in love with you

Is it so strange
That I love you more than all the world
Is it so strange
I have no eyes for any other girl

Oh won't you take me back
And say that you still love me
To waste a love like ours would be a sin
Let us kiss again
Let me hold you near
And take me from this strange world
That I'm living in

The "Teddy Bear" movie clip is from "Loving You" (Paramount 1957) - Elvis's second movie and his first in colour. Elvis's pretty co-star Dolores Hart (who also appeared in "King Creole" in 1958) later became a nun and is the Mother Superior in a Convent in the USA. Elvis's parents appeared in the last song scene as members of the audience.

Note:  On my computer screen, the picture of the movie clip is slightly narrow making everything slightly too tall, but the sound and clarity is very good.

The gently sung "I'm Falling In Love Tonight" was recorded by Elvis Presley for the movie "It Happened at the World's Fair" (MGM 1963). The film son was written by Don Robertson, who also played the organ at the recording session on 22nd September 1962 at Radio Recorders studio in Hollywood, USA.

The dinner scene was filmed in the restaurant at the 1963 Seattle World Fair. At the end of the song, Elvis hobbles out as he had previously paid a young boy to kick him in the shins so that he would have an excuse to visit the nurse at the Fair!  That young boy was actor Kurt Russell, who years later played Elvis in a movie after his death (on 16th August 1977).

The 11th anniversary of Lea's passing away
Permalink

Matteo from Italy wrote these charming words on the former Official CSS Forum back in March 2005:

Hallo to everyone..

I'm Matteo, an Italian boy. Yesterday I was thinking about Lea, in my room and something strange happened. Just in the moment I was thinking about her I saw a butterfly coming on my body. Strange thing for a winter night..

I like to think that she was Lea that wanted to thank me for my thoughts..

I'm still disturbed for the lost of this great person.

I love You Lea, You will always live in my heart.

XXX Matteo

Thank you to all who visit this site from time to time remembering lovely and brave Lea De Mae (Andrea).

I see that there have been over 178,000 viewings of this one topic alone in fond memory of Lea.

You will find some additional postings in the former CSS Official Forum about Lea and her best friend Monica Sweetheart and of course, a huge amount of material on Silvia Saint herself is included there.

The other site can be found at:

Happy New Year and Good Health.
