It is well known that this kind of poison can lead to different cancers (brain, liver ...). Many have died very young because of that. That could explain why she fell ill and died so young.
This never came up with her. But I am wondering if steroids were used after her accident. This would be probably the time she would of done that. If she done that at all. I think her diving skill was all 100% natural. But may have did something for her or after her accident to speed recovery. That is a real possibility. And I know this is in practice as well.
