This might be a stupid question

I have pretty much been here for the whole ordeal here. Today, I started to explore the site. I tried to access the "list all users" and "User details". It asks me to sign in. Is this just for the moderator or is there a way I can sign in. I cannot find a place to sign in. This kind of sounds rediculous. But could someone please help me with this? If there is a place to sign up let me know. Man, I am embarrassed. thanks

I think that this software  has a lot of other interesting options, for example user accounts  but Chris don’t use them.

I don't know much about the technical possibilities of this forum. I've enabled all options that I have there. If you can tell me what to do exactly, I'll try it.

Hi Chris,
The majority of advanced options require user accounts. In your forum user accounts are disabled. User accounts can be:
-mandatory (only registered users can post, anonymous users can read forum only)
-optional (logins are available, but anyone my post anonymously)
Everyone can register himself. I prefer “mandatory” but if you don’t agree with me you can use “optional”.

If you like to enable user accounts and "edit" option click on Settings in Configuration section and next modify the following parameters:

General Settings
User Edit Rule                    Users may edit their own post within the first 24 hours.

Users & Registration
User Authentication             Login required. No anonymous posting
                                                    or
Logins are available, but anyone my post anonymously
Signup Verification              Method Email Verification
Signup Notification Email      Yes

Best regards
Adam

Thank you Chris. It is working wonderfully!

You must establish the account for yourself now
