Several people asked me to remove Tom's comments and to banish him from this forum. I fully understand this request, because Tom's words are snotty, stupid and affronting. Nonetheless I want to leave them and I try to explain why:
It is a fact that pornstars are heavily criticised by intolerant moralists and people who regard themselves as superior. It's not easy for young women to withstand these attacks since most hits go below the belt (see e.g. Tom's language of the gutter). That's one of the reasons why many models leave the business after a short period of time and later even deny what they've been doing.
Not so Lea. She was strong enough not to change her position on that. She wittingly worked as a pornstar, although she knew that people were talking bad about her. But she never fought back, she let them have their different opinion; she showed fortitude and tolerance in accordance with her maxim "live and love and let others do the same".
Tom's attempt to run Lea down brings back to our mind what she had to bear only because of her job, thus revealing the strength of Lea's character and personality.
More than ever I'm glad to find myself at the side of Lea and her friends and fans rather than at the side of her ill-natured critics.
Chris, your magnanimity surprised me. It’s OK. You are the boss here.
I am only suggesting to accept the principle: We don't answer vulgar comments. People of the Tom sort want to be in the centre of attention. Let us not give this satisfaction to them.
However this unpleasant incident also has the good side. Through several months there were no new letters on this forum. I have often looked here and I thought that all had already forgotten. It made me sad. This incident shows me that I was wrong. I can see how many people are still visiting this forum although 9 months passed.

I'm not the boss, I've reacted the way I think Lea would have reacted. Magnanimity surely was a big part of Lea's character. Maybe behaving according to her character is partly keeping her alive.
